Fletching - A letter box at John Dumsday's, tailor. Letters forwarded every afternoon at five, to Uckfield.
Maresfield - A letter box at T Sime's, grocer, from whence letters are dent to Uckfield at seven in the evening.

Borne, Simcock & Co.'s coach passes through Uckfield to London, daily
From Maresfield; Brighton & Lewes coach every morning at ten. To London and to Brighton every afternoon at three
