William Augustus Raper, son of William Augustus Raper and Mary Raper [Hobbs] Printer friendly version

William Augustus Raper, a Battle solicitor of note, espoused the cause of the landowners surrounding the Ashdown Forest, and, after five years' litigation against Earl De La Warr, the rights of the commons over the Forest were established.
