Glen Andred (which was completed in the year 1867 from plans by Mr Norman Shaw) was built for the late Mr E.W. Cooke, the artist, and purchased by the Reverend E.H. Boardman, … in 1880. The surroundings are most beautiful and the gounds are quite unique.
