Reference RG11/1045: Ticehurst Enumeration District No 8; Sub-District: Burwash; Enumerator: B. P. Fuller
All that part of the Parish of Burwash comprising the East and South Side of the Turnpike Road leading from Boarders Hill to the Village, the South Side of the Village, all the South Side of the Turnpike Road leading to the boundary Stone of the New Ecclesiastical District marked No 2 and than in a direct line across to Wallingford a branch of the River Rother on the South side thereof - including the Rectory, The Tott, Court Barn, Burnt House, Rye Green and Laurel Hurst (lately called Judings) Farms, and also Bateman's and Dudwell Farms.
