The poor and needy shall not always be forgotten.
There is a set time to favour Zion.
In Memory of Edward SEYMOUR
who died May 11th 1884 aged 80 years.
Come in thou blessed set by me.
With my own life I ransomed thee.
Also of Patience, the wife of Edward SEYMOUR
who died February 3rd 1871 aged 63 years.
Leaving issue 4 sons & 6 daughters.
One gentle sigh their fetters break.
We scarce can say they are gone.
Before the winning spirit takes Her Mansion near the throne.
Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep.
From which none here awake to weep A calm and undisturbed repose.
Unbroken by the last of Foes.
