	1. Thomas Blackford was the son of Thomas Blackford, farmer and Rebecca Blackford [Woodsell]. 	He married Elizabeth Collins on 7^th Nov 1837 at St. Dunstan Church, Mayfield, Sussex. She was born 1818 at Burwash, Sussex; christened 19^th Apr 1818 at St. Bartholomew's Church, Burwash, Sussex. They had the following children:

	She married Edward Vinall, farm labourer on Oct to Dec 1861, registered at Uckfield District, Sussex, ref: 1861 Q4 Vol 2b page 155. He was born 1835 at Buxted, Sussex; christened 31^st May 1840 at St. Margaret's Church, Buxted, Sussex, aged 5 years, son of Martin Vinall (shopkeeper) and Charity Vinall. They had the following children:
