Little Horsted
Little Horsted (also known as Horsted Parva) is a village and parish in the East Grinstead division of Sussex, in the hundred of Rushmonden, rape of Pevensey, rural deanery of Uckfield, archdeaconry of Lewes and diocese of Chichester.
The population of Little Horsted in 1811 was 235; in 1841 was 278; in 1861 was 296; in 1871 was 298; in 1881 was 301; in 1891 was 265; in 1901 was 265; in 1911 was 267; in 1921 was 259; and in 1931 was 234.
Little Horsted is recorded in the Domesday book as Horstede.
