She was born 1880 at High Street, East Grinstead, Sussex; christened 18th Jul 1880 at St Swithin Parish Church, East Grinstead, Sussex, daughter of Frederick Fortune Payne (bootmaker) and Rosina Payne; died 1921, registered at Horsham District, Sussex, ref: 1921 Q1 Vol 2b Page 448.
