	2. Sir Henry Baker, 1st Baronet Baker of Sissinghurst was the son of John Baker and Maria Baker [Guildford]. He was born c 1580 at Sissinghurst Castle, Cranbrook, Kent; Invested as a Knight at Oatlands in Surrey 15^th Jul 1606; Created 1st Baronet Baker of Sissinghurst 29^th Jun 1611; died c Nov 1623 at Cranbrook, Kent; buried 4^th Dec 1623 at St Dunstan's Church, Cranbrook, Kent
	He married Catharina Smyth on 27^th Feb 1605 at St. Gabriel, Fenchurch Street, City of London. She was born c 1580, daughter of Sir John Smyth and Elizabeth Fineux. They had the following children:
