Roger Callow, became Rector of Warbleton, the right of next presentation to that rectory having been sold (Oct. 12, 1695) by Robert Spiller, of Burwash, to Ann Hawkesworth and John Roberts, of Boresell, Ticehurst, in trust for him. Roger Callow died in 1733 and left bequests to his brother Herbert and Herbert's four children - John, Herbert, Henry and Elizabeth (Wimble). The residue of his estate he left to his grand-daughter, Ann Berkeley. He also left mourning rings to his "cousin Hawksworth", his son Berkeley and to Mrs Cooper.
