Notes for GEORGE FARRANT:
George enlisted in the army on 7th June 1883 in Chichester. He joined the Scots Guards in London 12 June 1883 aged 20 - tailor height 5ft 8in; weight 121lb; complextion fresh; eyes hazel; hair brown; religion Church of England.
He was sent to Sudan where he had enteric fever with general debility 21st Feb 1885 - 10th Sept 1885
