	He married Harriott Barber on 15^th May 1815 at Chiddingly, Sussex, witnesses Sarah Deadman & Ann Hayworth. She was born 1797 at Chalvington, Sussex. They had the following children:

	2. Reuben Goldsmith, brickmaker was the son of Reuben Goldsmith, brickmaker and Harriott Goldsmith [Barber]. He was born 1817 at Fletching, Sussex
	He married Fanny Farley on 24^th Oct 1842 at All Saints, Lewes, Sussex, witnesses William & Sarah Farley. She was born 1822 at Little Horsted, Sussex. They had the following children:
