	He married Phoebe Pratt on 11^th Oct 1852 at St. Denys Church, Rotherfield, Sussex. She was born 7^th Jul 1828 at Renbeighs, Rotherfield, Sussex; christened 31^st Aug 1828 at St. Denys Church, Rotherfield, Sussex, daughter of James Pratt (farmer) and Kitty Pratt; died 21^st Dec 1913 at Rotherfield, Sussex, registered at Uckfield District, Sussex, ref: 1913 Q4 Vol 2b Page 142, aged 85 years; buried after 21^st Dec 1913 at Forest Fold [a.k.a. Two Chimneys] Chapel, Crowborough, Sussex. They had the following children:
