	2. Sir John Jefferay, Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer was the son of Richard Jefferay and Eliza Jefferay [Whitfield]. He was born c 1515; died 13^th May 1577 at Coleman Street Ward, London
	He married (1) Alice Apsley on c 1555. She was born c 1520. They had the following children:
