	He married Mercy Haffenden on 8^th Nov 1872 at All Saints Church, Heathfield, Sussex. She was born Oct 1850 at Heathfield, Sussex; died Jan to Mar 1904, registered at Uckfield District, Sussex, ref: 1904 Q1 Vol 2b Page 89. They had the following children:
