	1. Charles Payne Crawfurd, J.P., Paymaster of Widows' Pensions and Barrister-at-Law was the son of Gibbs Crawfurd, Clerk of H.M. Ordnance and M.P. for Queenboro', Kent and Anna Crawfurd [Payne]. He was born 9^th Apr 1765; christened 16^th May 1765; died 13^th Mar 1814 at Sydenham, Kent, aged 48 years; buried 22^nd Mar 1814
	He married Arabella Proby on 5^th Jun 1800 at Stratford St Mary, Suffolk. She was born 1771, daughter of Rev. Narcissus Charles Proby and Arabella Weller; christened 12^th Jul 1771 at Stoke-by-Nayland, Suffolk; died 2^nd Mar 1837 at Saint Hill, East Grinstead, Sussex, aged 65 years. They had the following children:
