	He married (1) Harriett Fenner on 15^th Nov 1835 at St. Peter and St. Paul Parish Church, Tonbridge, Kent. She was born 1812 to 1813 at Mayfield, Sussex, There are two Harriet Fenners born in 1812 & 1813. Currently not possible to distinguish between them; buried 13^th May 1839 at St. Bartholomew's Church, Burwash, Sussex. They had the following children:
