He was born 1798 at Lindfield, Sussex; christened 20th May 1798 at All Saints (als St. John-the.Baptist), Lindfield, Sussex, son of John Wicken and Sarah Wicken; died Jan to Mar 1885, registered at Sevenoaks District, Kent, ref: 1885 Q1 Vol2a Page 437, aged 87 years. They had the following children:
  iEmma who was born 1827 at Edenbridge, Kent; christened 30th Aug 1827 St. Peter and St. Paul, Edenbridge, Kent, son of John Wicken (labourer) and Ann Wicken; died Mar 1828 Edenbridge, Kent, aged 6 months; buried 14th Mar 1828 Edenbridge, Kent
