He was born 1816 at Speldhurst, Kent; christened 30^th Jun 1816 at St. Mary's Church, Speldhurst, Kent, son of Edward Waite and Olive Waite. They had the following children:

She was born 1855 at Maresfield, Sussex; christened 2^nd Sep 1855 at St Bartholomew Parish Church, Maresfield, Sussex; died 14^th Mar 1941 at Crawley Down, Sussex, aged 84 years.
