	He married Sarah Ann Tolhurst on Oct to Dec 1859, registered at Tonbridge District, Kent, ref: 1859 Q4 Vol 2a Page 591. She was born 1837 at Lamberhurst, Kent and Sussex. They had the following children:

	2. Flora Boakes [Wallis] was the daughter of William Wallis, farm labourer and Sarah Ann Wallis [Tolhurst]. She was born 1873 at Lamberhurst, Kent and Sussex; christened 6^th Jul 1873 at St Mary's Parish Church, Lamberhurst, Kent and Sussex
	She married Arthur Boakes on 19^th May 1894 at St Mary's Parish Church, Lamberhurst, Kent and Sussex. He was born 15^th Jun 1875 at Goudhurst, Kent; christened 4^th May 1894 at St Mary the Virgin Church, Goudhurst, Kent. They had the following children:
