He was born 1816 at Warbleton, Sussex; christened 7th Apr 1816 at St. Mary's Church, Warbleton, Sussex, recorded as John; died 27th Oct 1892 at Mount Pleasant, Bodle Street Green, Sussex, probate to Jane Oxley widow, Richard Oxley draper & grocer and Tom Jenner farmer. They had the following children:
