He was born 1819 at Heathfield, Sussex; christened 12^th Dec 1819 at All Saints Church, Heathfield, Sussex, son of Robert (labourer) & Mary Dan; died July to Sep 1889, registered at Hailsham District, Sussex, ref: 1889 Q3 Vol 2b Page 56.
