The Catholic School Chapel of St. John the Evangelist, Heron's Ghyll, was built at the expense of His Grace the Duke of Norfolk in 1880: Divine service is held on Sundays and holy days of obligation. There is also a private chapel in the house at Heron's Ghyll, to which the, public are admitted, the Rev. Thomas Ottley, priest.
