Argos Hill Windmill Argos Hill Mayfield |
![]() Argos Hill Windmill in 1936 |
This is a splendid mill, and it is a great pity it is not in use. It is situated on Argos Hill, which is on the left of the road to Tunbridge Wells, about a mile north after leaving Mayfield. It is reached by a lane turning off to the left shortly after the road crosses the railway line, and it stands in a field on the right-hand side of this lane. extract from Hemming's Windmills |
