Part of the Civil Parish of Hellingly which lies West of the River Cuckmere from the Footbridge in Mr Bennetts brook leading to and past Mrs Heavers Water Mill as far as the West corner of Springham Wood and Southeast of the footpath leading from thence to the Road leading from Grovebridge and Southwest of that Road to the Boundry of the Parish, and Northeast of the footpath leading from the sais Footbridge in Mr Bennetts Brook to and out into the Road at Mr Bennetts and North of that Road to the footpath in the Broadfield continuing on past the Wilderness towards the Peaks as far as the Bounary of the Parish inluding the Churchyard, Stonehouse, the Vicarage, the Broad, North St, West St, the Old Toll Gate House at Horeham, Horeham flat, and Worlds End.
