Mount Pleasant District comprises all that remaining part of the Parish of Lamberhurst that lies West and South of the Turnpike Road leading from Lamberhurst to Pembury beginning at the bridge on the great river in the village to near the side turnpike road at the Beech then East of the parish boundary to the great river and North of the great river to the bridge in the village including part of the village, Parsonage, Grantham Hall, Botting cottage (pulled down) near the Pembury windmill, Sandhurst, Clayhall, Owly House, Mount Pleasant, Hoathly, Bayham Mansion, Beech Lane Cottages, Tolls Lye.
