All that part of the Parish of Hellingly which lies West of the River Cuckmere to the Footbridge in Mr Colbran's brook leading to and past Mr Kennard's Mill as far as the West corner of Springham Wood and Southwest of the footpath leading from thence to the Road leading from Grove bridge to Marlgreen and Southwest of that Road to the Boundary of the Parish and Northeast of the footpath leading from the said bridge in Mr Colbran's brook past the Southside of the Churchyard and on to the Broad Field and from thence to the Boundary of the Parish, [including the Churchyard, the Vicarage, the Broad, North Street, West Street and Amly].
