All that part of the Parish of Laughton which lies Northwest of the Turnpike Road leading from Lewes to Battle as far as Stone Cross and Northwest of the Road leading from thence to East Hoathly to the Boundary of the Parish, [including Shortgate, the Brickhurst and Mopes Hole].
