1881 Cranbrook Census

All the houses on the South side of Turnden Lane beginning at Glassenbury Corner, continuing onward from thence through the Town along the Golford Road as far as the Ecclesiastical boundary extends following the said boundary line to Chittenden Farm, also all the houses on the East side of Turnden Corner along the Glassenbury Lane as far as Hartly Gate Houses on the North side of Swattenden Lane continuing on the Road to Benenden as far as the limits of the Parish extends. Also all the houses included within the area but exclusive of the Town as stated in District No 2. This Division includes the Union House, The Fright, Tillsden, Handcock, Coursehorne, The Folly and Chittenden Farms.
