1541 Will of Eleonor Grombrege of Speldhurst

The will of Eleonor Grombrege of Speldhurst widow probate 1542 "In the name of god Amen in the year of our Lorde god 1541 the last day of February I Elynor Grombrege the widow of Richard Grombrege of Speldhurst in good and perfect minde. First I bequeath my soul unto Almighty god and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Speldhurst.

Item I will that Humfrey Long and Kathryn … whom I make myn executors to perform this my last testament shall bestow at my buriall to preste and clarke and other poor people 6s 8d. And at my moneth day in like mind they shall bestow 6s 8d.

Item I give unto every of my god children 4d a piece.

Item I give to Joane and Elizabeth the daughters of Richard Grombrege to each of them a quarter the residue of my goods.
