Edward Killner |
Killner, Edward. Living at Forest Row. Laborer. Born at Horsted Keynes, aged 84. Father died when about 4 years old and Mother brought me to East Grinstead. When about 13 years went to live at Brambletye, under Master Weller, went with his team. Lived there about 3 years. I used to go on the Forest with the team and bring home litter for the yards. I then came to work for Master Stone the tenant of Burnt House for a year. About Michaelmas time I brought in litter with the team for his stock. We also carried litter [fort some of the cottagers at Forest Row. Since then has worked about one place and owner and had nothing to do with litter. Rather vague. |
