Headstone

In hope of the Resurrection to Eternal Life,
Here lie deposited the Mortal Remains of Mary JENNER,
the wife of Mr. Thomas JENNER of Yalding,
who died December 5th 1852 aged 67 years.
Also of the above named Thomas JENNER
who died April 24th 1870 aged 88 years.
This memorial was erected by their eldest son Rev. Stephen JENNER M.A.
sometime Curate of East Farleigh.
My boast is not that I deduce my birth
From lords enthroned or Rulers of the earth.
Enough for me … Oh! if the lot be given …
The son of parents raised from earth to heaven.
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
1 Tim 1 v 15.
Whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3 v 16.
