Will of Richard Killick dated 23 Feb 1828, proved PCC on 12 Aug 1830
he refers to "all that my Messuage or Tenement, Lands, Hereditaments and premises thereto belonging situate lying and being in the town of Rotherfield and now in my occupation and all other real estate" being "devised and bequeathed" to his nephew Thomas Killick of Groombridge in the parish of Speldhurst in the county of Kent, Grocer and draper (son of my late brother John Killick deceased).
Thomas was nominated as executor and was charged with liquidating the estate, the proceeds then being bequeathed, in part, to Nephew Thomas Tester of Rotherfield farmer (son of Richard's sister Jane Tester) £200 and nephew Thomas Tester of Rotherfield farmer (son of Richard's sister Jane Tester) £200

The remainder was to be divided equally unto and amongst all my brothers and sisters children that shall be living at the time of my decease namely to all and every of the children of:

my late brother Thomas Killick deceased
my late sister Sarah Cripps deceased
my late sister Mary Corke deceased
my sister Jane Tester
my late sister Elizabeth Hardman deceased
my late brother John Killick deceased
my late brother John Killick deceased
my late brother William Killick deceased
my sister Hannah Fry
my late sister Ansley Uridge deceased.
