In 1704 there was a dispute between Ralph Killick and brother John Killick over land in Hartfield
From 1714 to February 1721 the rate books list Ralphe as the occupier of Chartneys and Carpenters, Russell fields in the north of the parish, and Walters Farm in south of the parish. The assessments were amongst the largest in the parish, with annual value of £120, which was a very substantial sum in those days. Also in the Rent Roll between Michaelmas 1707 and 1714, Ralphe paid rent to the Earl of Thanet for the manor or farm of St Tyes, Hartfield.
From June 1714 to August 1722 it was occupied by his son John, now called St Ives and separate from Tye Farm
Ralphe was a beneficiary in the Will of his brother William 1675, and named in a Bill of Complaint of his brother Robert in 1704 re their father's estate.
Ralphe's Will was dated 5 September 1721, and proved on 5 February 1721/22, so he must have died between September and the following February. He was described as a Yeoman.
His son John was Executor, and the witnesses were Thomas Killick, Henry Batchelor, and George Hooper. The Will refers to his daughter Mary, the wife of John Bayley, and his grandchildren John and Mary Bayley. Proved in the Archdeaconry Court of Lewes, East Sussex
